Ramaswamy stated Haley confirmed an “astonishing lack of knowledge” by discussing the app “vulgarly” on stage and never acknowledging that the GOP may use the platform to succeed in younger voters and broaden its enchantment.
“It is not a sin to be on TikTok,” he stated. “It is a era hole. A lot of the younger folks I meet are.”
On Thursday morning, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis defended the Haley household throughout an interview on Fox Information, saying: “I feel youngsters are off limits. I did not suppose it was the correct factor to do.” Healey and DeSantis are seen because the strongest contenders towards former President Donald Trump, though he stays within the lead by a large margin.
TikTok, a Chinese language-owned platform, has come underneath scrutiny from lawmakers and others who warn that the app poses a nationwide safety menace as a result of the Chinese language authorities may take information from American customers.
Vivek’s marketing campaign joined the platform in September, a transfer Haley criticized.
